Michael Raygoza - WHITE SUIT

Before going to colombia I was very excited and nervous. I didn't know what to expect. I have never been to a theatre festival let alone an international one. Despite that I was overjoyed and jumping with joy. My mom took me to the airport because she had been freaking out for me being the first person in our family to travel out of the country. I let her know that everything would be fine and we began our journey to latin America.

Today was an amazing day. its Tuesday but it feels like so much time has passed. We woke later than usual and ate our breakfast poolside. After we split up to do interviews at different places. A group of us went to a school where we spoke to hundreds of kids to tell them to come to our show. It was very overwhelming becasue we were told that we were only going to talk to small groups of children. It was a lot of fun. After we met up with everyone else at the radio station. We left to a street market t buy souveniors and such. We went back to the hotel, ate, swam and rehearsed for a little while. We went to the Theatre at 7:30 to watch the group from Chile perform who were amazing! We all went back to the hotel and swam some more while talking to the group from Chile about how different things are. After that we went back to our rooms and went to bed.

Today is Friday. A very long day! We got to the theatre last night at 8:30 after some miscommunication and stood around till 1 in the morning to be sent to the hotel to take a nap. We went back to the theatre at 4 am and had to nap some more because they were not ready for us. We woke up at 7 am and had to hurry up and get ready because we were performing at 9:30. After our morning performance, a student from the school who we went to talk to, stood up and told us that if we would look up art in the dictionary, what we did would be the definition. It was also very funny because all of the little girls thought i looked like the Jonas brothers and took a lot of pictures of me. We went back to the hotel and I did an interview for T.V. a long with 2 other members of the cast. We all went back to the theatre to go perform for our last time. It was very intense. I almost fainted in the last ten minutes of the show. It was our best performance ever! A group of musicians who are our friends from Colombia took us to the Lobby and sang and played music for us. It was amazing. We then went back to the hotel and relaxed and went to bed.
